Our Registered Dietitians (RDs) are your trusted source for food and nutrition information and advice who can help you make practical and sustainable nutrition-related changes to improve your long-term health. They are a regulated health professional, just like doctors and nurses, who have a degree in food and nutrition from an accredited university program and undergo comprehensive and extensive training.
Ohr Medical’s Registered Dietitians are committed to providing clients with high quality, evidence-based nutrition recommendations and resources. They will help you explore and compare different eating patterns, habits and food choices that affect your health and wellness. Whether you want to lose weight, gain weight, elevate your mood, or reduce your risk of nutrition-related chronic diseases, our dietitian team translates the science of nutrition into real life practices to help you establish healthy and satisfying eating habits and strategies that are tailored to your personal needs and challenges, including taste, food skills and accessibility.
Initial Nutrition Assessment
Your assessment includes but is not limited to detailed review of your health status, weight history and current health goals. By uncovering how your food choices and lifestyle habits are influencing your current eating pattern, the registered dietitian can make recommendations to optimize your efforts to achieve your optimal health and weight through a sustainable and effective approach.
Our dietitians will work with you one-on-one to help you achieve your goals using education and collaborative techniques.
This is a comprehensive assessment that considers your age, gender, height, weight and body circumference.
Ohr Medical utilizes a state-of-the art 3D 360-degree Body Scanner that will show the exact measurements of shape, accurate and precise body composition (fat mass, lean muscle mass, visceral fat, water concentration, bone mass and more).
If required, your dietitian, in collaboration with the Healthcare team, will analyze important laboratory markers to further evaluate your specific nutritional and health needs.
Individualized Meal Plan and Grocery Shopping List
During your first visit, we ask you to track your food intake for three to five days using the tracking application that we will give you. Recording your actual intake allows the dietitian to determine how closely you meet your nutritional needs and requirements, and this will allow us to create an accurate meal plan and grocery shopping list that works with your lifestyle and helps you achieve your eating goals.
